- A cross between a tangerine and a pomelo
- Deep reddish-orange bell-shaped fruit which ripens in January to March.
- In many locations, wait to harvest until spring for juicy, sweet tangerine flavor.
- Minneola blossoms are self-incompatible and must be cross-pollinated by a suitable pollinator to assure a good fruit set.
- Suitable pollinators: Dancy, Clementine, California Honey and Kinnow mandarins
- Not suitable pollinators: Satsuma, Kishu and other seedless mandarins
- Growing Tip: Extend your mandarin season by planting early, middle and late ripening mandarin varieties together.
- Best for Zones 9-11/ Protect below 32 F
- For Zones 4-8, you can grow this tree in a pot and bring it indoors for the winter.

The goal with this product is to provide a top-quality tree that is branched nicely and well rooted in a container size that is economical to ship. Primo Size Citrus trees are pruned with intention to get you a beautifully developed canopy with proper branching starting at or above the 18” mark.
Premium Size Trees: Tree height ranges from 36"-48" and the trees are grown in a #5 pot. (This size pot holds 3.25 gallons of soil.)
