  • Still hard when ripe, Fuyu/ Jiro is the most popular non-astringent cultivar in California.

15'-20' Mature Tree

The tree is grafted onto standard D. lotus rootstock which can reach heights of 20'-30' at maturity, but Fuyu on this rootstock tends to be smaller around 15'-20' tall. Not recommended for container planting. Trees can be kept much smaller with judicious pruning.
