  • Everyone's favorite cherry and the most widely planted for fresh eating.
  • Large firm, juicy, nearly black fruit.
  • Wonderful sweet flavor and very juicy.
  • Favorite in colder regions.
  • Bing produces a large, vigorous tree.
  • Pollinated by Black Tartarian, Van, Rainier, Stella or Lapins.
  • Cherries are a practical fruit for home orchards where climate and soil conditions are suitable.
  • Once established, they require little maintenance and are reliable producers.
  • Best adapted to areas where summers are moderately cool.
  • The trees dislike high humidity.
  • Usually the last fruit to bloom and first to ripen.
  • Most varieties require a pollenizer.
  • Sweet cherries can reach 25-30 feet tall in deep soils.
  • Sensitive to wet, tight soils.
  • Susceptible to birds, brown rot, and bacterial canker.
  • Harvest 4th or 5th year.

 

Tree will be shipped dormant and bare-rooted. 

 

 

  • We ship our bare root trees in January.
  • Bare root trees are pruned to 48" which facilitates stronger root growth.
  • Our bare root trees ship in special boxes with their roots bagged in moist sawdust.
  • We can ship our "Other Edibles" (non-citrus plants) and growing accessories to most states, including Texas, Arizona or Florida. 
  • Sorry, we do not ship any items to the US Virgin Islands, Guam, Puerto Rico or to API/APO addresses, or to other countries at this time.
  • Due to agricultural restrictions, we cannot send any fruit, foliage or plants in soil to Hawaii. We can ship all other non-tree items to Hawaii, as well as Bare-Rooted Premium citrus trees. 
  • In order to insure the highest quality upon arrival, we ship on Mondays and Tuesdays
  • We ship orders to the east coast on Mondays only.

 


 

  • Trees are approximately 2 years old.
  • Our trees are measured by trunk caliper.
  • Trunk size may vary slightly based on availability during the season.
  • Average trunk size is 1/2"-5/8".

 The tree will be shipped dormant and bare-rooted.
